Breathe in through the nose for a count of 4 seconds. Hold the breath for a count of 7 seconds. Loosen your lips and breathe out through the mouth for a count of 8 Repeat as many times as needed
Four-Seven-Eight
used as a Sleep Aid
Preferably sitting crisscrossed comfortably with relaxed shoulders and palms facing upward. Inhale slowly, occupying the lungs with air. Exhale steadily, emptying the lungs entirely.
Deep Breathing
used for Stress and Anxiety
Starting out with a clear mind; breathe in through the nose, then puckering your lips and breathe out through your mouth. Making the exhale term twice as long as the inhale term.
Puckered Lip Breathing
helping with COPD/Asthma
Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, hold the air inside for 4 seconds, then breathe out slowly through the mouth; clearing any leftover air. Pause for another 4 seconds before repeating.
